Birdhers Workshop

Everyone and all ages who are allied with a FREE PALESTINE are welcome to join this event.

The martyred children of Gaza are the focus of this collective project. We create these birds to honor and connect with them, to memorialize and remember their names, their existence and their wholeness. We gather to mourn as a community and to connect our grief to education and action. This is one part, one action in a large and myriad movement for Justice and Freedom. Join, contribute and move together as a stronger community towards collective liberation.

The community room is located on the first floor off the courtyard on Raleigh St between NW 12th Ave + NW 13th Ave. A wheelchair accessible ramp is located on the front of the building on 13th St, follow the sidewalk around to the courtyard in the middle of the building on the south side.

Materials and refreshments will be available and we encourage those that have extra, to bring more. Scissors, glue, tape, paper, paint, drinks or snacks are all welcome additions. Sinks and bathrooms will be available. Donations will be accepted to support local Palestinians who have family in need of support.

Masks required. This is a large space, no RSVP, feel free to come and go as your time allows.

This event is organized by non-Palestinian Queer AFAB allies.
